Maoist spokesman Azad killed

The Maoist central committee member, Cherukuri Raj Kumar alias Azad was one of the two Maoists, killed in an alleged exchange of fire near Sarkepally village of Adilabad district, police sources confirmed on Friday morning.
The other Maoists killed was yet to be identified.

Raj Kumar, more popularly known as Azad, was the party central committee spokesman and was believed to be a close confidante of Maoist Chief Muppalla Laxmana Rao.
