APPSC to hold Prelims, cops impose Section 144

Braving the threat from Telangana outfits, the APPSC has forwarded question papers for the Group-I recruitment exam scheduled on September 5 to all districts and has asked authorities to provide adequate security for its smooth conduct.

Nearly 1.9 lakh aspirants who are set to write the exam are still anxious about what would happen even as the director-general of police, Mr K. Aravinda Rao, asked all commissioners of police and district superintendents to act tough against unruly elements who try to disrupt the exams.
