A laptop containing crucial data in the Satyam Computers fraud was formatted seven times in a bid to erase all evidence a day prior to the confessional statement by the former company chairman and main accused Ramalinga Raju.
This was done by former vice-president (finance) G. Ramakrishna, while another accused Ch. Srisailam, assistant manager, deleted all electronic records after the aborted Maytas deal, the trial court going into the scam was informed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) here on Monday.
